VC Series Pneumatic Couplings

VC Pneumatic Couplings are specifically designed and built for demanding applications in heavy industrial equipment where high starting loads or prolonged slippage typically reduce the effectiveness of clutches or brakes and shorten their life. Crimp and vented design provide high torque and fast heat dissipation. All VC element assemblies are supplied with a wear resistant friction material, NOT ASBESTOS.

Description

The size designation of the clutch indicates the nominal diameter of the drum in inches, the model of the clutch and the width of the friction material. For example, the size “38VC1200″ indicates that the element operates on a 38” nominal diameter drum, is a “VC” series clutch or brake, and has 12″ wide friction material (pad).
If diametrical space is limited or the required torque is greater than a single coupling can deliver, all sizes of VC couplings can be supplied as twin couplings.
