Description
The designation of the clutch indicates the nominal outer diameter of the drum in inches, the model of the clutch and the width of the friction material. For example, the size “12CB350″ indicates that the clutch is running on a 12” nominal diameter drum, is a “CB” series clutch or brake, and has friction material (pad) that is three and a half inches wide.
If diametral space is limited or the required torque is greater than a single coupling can deliver, CB couplings size 12CB350 and larger can be supplied as twins.
Standard range of CB series couplings:
3CB150- torque: 40.7 Nm at 5.2 bar; maximum speed: 2000 rpm;
4CB200- torque: 113 Nm at 5.2 bar; maximum speed: 2000 rpm;
5CB200- torque: 165 Nm at 5.2 bar; maximum speed: 2000 rpm;
6CB200 – torque: 231 Nm at 5.2 bar; maximum speed: 1800 rpm;
8CB250- torque: 485 Nm at 5.2 bar; maximum speed: 1800 rpm;
10CB300 – torque: 921 Nm at 5.2 bar; maximum speed: 1800 rpm;
12CB350- torque: 1500 Nm at 5.2 bar; maximum speed: 1800 rpm;
14CB400 – torque: 2230 Nm at 5.2 bar; maximum speed: 1800 rpm.
